Wacky Wednesday: How to Make Slime and Why I love YouTube

Today I am going to help you learn how to make your own slime, because well, everyone needs to know how to make slime. I am offering three different versions of the "recipe" for your enjoyment:

This one is from a television station's "Hooked on Science" segment:

This was probably done by an engineering student:

This is my favorite scientist of them all:

Now go out there and make your own slime!!

I'm a little concerned about the lack of safety equipment in the Hooked on Science segment. Granted, borax and PVA are fairly innocuous but in the context of a science teaching show safety should be preached. In the lab where I work, I have to wear safety glasses to pour water (to stay in compliance with university rules).

Maybe I'm overreacting. I'm in a bad mood because I have been making my own supply of slime since my son has brought home every stray virus since starting back to school.

You know I agree with you on that one. Someone should alert the media about the abuse of that poor child.

I feel your pain, the angelbaby is a total bug sponge. We got lucky this year. It took her a whole month to finally get sick this year and it was a teacher who gave her his cold! How lucky was she?

Guy #1 - very annoying. Ask's his assistant questions and answers for her.

Guy#2 - was he speaking English?

Guy#3 - 100% the best. Good information, great camera presence and so darn cute.
