Obama's Decision Would Have Left Her In a Closet to Die

I'm sure that many little ones might have lived had they been give the care that Gianna was given. Does she look as though her life had no worth? She blesses all of those who come in contact with her, and but for the grace of God and perhaps not enough saline she might have died because of some woman's choice.

It isn't a choice, it is a child of God, who will have a life worth living if given a chance.

The family was blessed to get to see Gianna when she came to speak at Sherwood Oaks about 10 years ago! I had wondered how she was and then low and behold I see her on Hannity and Colmes and then this video is now getting around which is beautiful and awesome!!! I am so happy for her..isn't she the most amazing beautiful young woman?
Yes, Jesus is her MAN...you can tell that! Amen

So you will back a candidate for president from a party that is systematically dismantling the middle class because he may or may not make abortion illegal in this country, thus putting the USA in a league with countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Brazil.

First of all, no one is for abortion. It is a horrible thing, but unfortunately it is a horrible thing that has been, and always will be with us. Conservatives have manipulated the religious in America in order to help the rich carry out their economic goals, which is all they really care about. Enabling corporate greed is tops on their list. If you want to see where we will be if you get your wish just look in the history books. There were plenty of abortions back when it was illegal and it was also the number one cause of death for women of child bearing years. Look at the figures for Latin America today where it is illegal. If your goal is to stop abortion, making it illegal isn't going to work. Thinking otherwise is just a lie.

Contrary to what you seem to believe, women die from "safe, legal" abortions every month. Women die from complications after taking RU 486 at the rate of almost one a month.

Why don't we hear those statistics? BEcause NARAL and PLanned Parenthood doesn't want the country to know that "Legal" hasn't made abortions any more safe than back alley abortions were.

In developed countries, where the procedure is usually legal, abortion mortality is low (0.2–1.2 deaths per 100,000 abortions). But in developing regions (excluding China), where abortion is often illegal or highly restricted, abortion mortality is hundreds of times higher (330 deaths per 100,000 abortions). (Guttmacher Institute)

Around the world, in countries where abortion is illegal, it remains a leading cause of maternal death. An estimated 68,000 women worldwide die each year from unsafe abortions. National Abortion Federation)

Before Roe, it is estimated that "between 200,000 and 1.2 million illegally induced abortions occur[red] annually in the United States."1 As many as 5,000 to 10,000 women died per year following illegal abortions and many others suffered severe physical and psychological injury. (Center for Reproductive Rights)

These are just three first three things I googled. If you have contradictory information, let me know.

Sorry but I'll stick with my original point: religious people should find another means of preventing abortions other than making it illegal. I don't know what that tactic will be but you guys are smart and committed, figure it out. But whatever strategy you decide on, please don't get in bed with a political party that is systematically dismantling the middle class, creating a new plutocracy that would make the monarchs in Revolutionary France blush, and claims to be pro-life while dragging America down fighting two incredibly stupid and bloody wars.

find me one statistic from an impartial source (all three of the ones you quote are from or supported by the abortion industry so of course they want to prove that abortions are safe if things remain the same.

I actively support causes that help women from resorting to the desperate act of abortion both with my time and monetarily. When you can say that you do the same I will continue this conversation, because just spouting words isn't helping either side of the issue.

I'm sorry, I thought this was the comment section. You know, where people can make comments and sometimes challenge what the author has posted. If you can name any source that supports what you say--that where abortion is legal women suffer the same risks as places where it is illegal--I will completely change my thinking on the subject. There is a huge difference between "just spouting words" and spouting words backed by facts.
